DZD SOOQ exists to create a safe marketplace where people across Algeria can buy and sell with confidence. Clear expectations help buyers, sellers, and businesses treat one another fairly — and help us keep the community strong.

These Community Guidelines work alongside our Terms of Use (https://dzdsooq.com/terms/) and Safety Tips (https://dzdsooq.com/safety-tips/). Following them is part of using DZD SOOQ responsibly.

Every conversation and listing reflects on our shared marketplace. When you interact with others on DZD SOOQ, you must:

• Be respectful in listings, messages, reviews, and profile content
• Communicate politely — even when you disagree or a deal does not work out
• Avoid harassment, threats, intimidation, or repeated unwanted contact
• Avoid hate speech targeting people or groups
• Avoid discrimination based on identity, origin, belief, gender, disability, or similar protected characteristics
• Respect cultural differences and local norms across Algeria’s diverse communities

Trust starts with truthful ads. Listings on DZD SOOQ must:

• Describe the real item or service being offered
• Use real photos of the actual product or premises (not misleading stock images presented as yours)
• Include accurate prices and key conditions
• Avoid misleading titles, captions, or omitted defects that a reasonable buyer would need to know
• Avoid fake availability — do not keep ads active for items you no longer have

To protect our community and stay aligned with Algerian law and platform safety, DZD SOOQ prohibits listings, messages, and profiles that involve:

• Illegal products or services
• Weapons where prohibited by law or platform policy
• Drugs and controlled substances
• Counterfeit products and unauthorized brand replicas
• Stolen goods
• Fraudulent schemes and deceptive offers
• Fake documents or forged credentials
• Dangerous products that create unreasonable risk of harm
• Adult content
• Gambling services
• Hate content
• Content that promotes or glorifies violence
• Scam listings designed to trick buyers or sellers
• Duplicate listings posted to spam search results
• Spam and repetitive low-quality promotional floods

Messaging helps buyers and sellers coordinate. It must not be used to harm others. Users must not:

• Send spam or unsolicited bulk messages
• Send phishing links or suspicious download prompts
• Request passwords, OTP codes, or other account credentials
• Harass other users or refuse to stop after being asked
• Use abusive, degrading, or threatening language

Reviews help the community choose trusted sellers and businesses. Reviews must:

• Reflect real experiences with the person or business you are reviewing
• Be honest and based on facts you can stand behind
• Not contain insults or personal attacks
• Not contain false accusations
• Not be exchanged for money, free goods, or other rewards

Store accounts represent professional sellers on DZD SOOQ. Store users must:

• Represent their real store
• Provide accurate store information in their profile and listings
• Respect customers in messages, fulfilment promises, and dispute handling
• Avoid misleading advertising, fake scarcity, or exaggerated claims

Manipulating the marketplace harms everyone. Account abuse includes, for example:

• Creating fake accounts
• Using multiple accounts to manipulate listings, visibility, or conversations
• Posting or arranging artificial reviews
• Circumventing bans, suspensions, or other enforcement actions

You help keep DZD SOOQ safer when you speak up. Please report:

• Suspicious listings
• Fraud or scam attempts
• Fake users or impersonation
• Offensive behavior in messages, reviews, or profiles

When Guidelines or Terms are broken, DZD SOOQ may take action appropriate to the severity and history of the issue. Possible actions include:

• A warning
• Listing removal or edit requirements
• Temporary suspension of account features or the full account
• Permanent account suspension

DZD SOOQ continuously works to improve marketplace quality and safety — through clearer policies, better reporting tools, and careful review of community reports.
